Abstract

Life has changed much in the last years, being the fight against time the major goal. Even medicine has modified its purposes and nowadays it is mainly a rehabilitative medicine. The aim is to maintain ourselves performing as much as possible. And young. At least looking young.  Almost every individual at a certain point in their life will require a rejuvenation procedure. Women more than more than men, but the latter are sensitive to the problem as much as the females. Considering all the various invasive procedures as lasers and derma- abrasions, deep dermal heating caused by radio frequency has been proposed as a non invasive rejuvenating procedure;  heat damages collagen causing shrinking of its fibres and thereafter deposition  of neo formed collagen strands. This study reports the role of a radio frequency emitting unit.
